About Kool Covers

Kool Covers founder Jorge Arredondo began as a independent contractor in 1976, installing aluminum and steel canopies in the Houston area. This led to his establishment of Kool Covers in 1996. Through his experience and knowledge, Jorge's business has flourished in Houston, TX and the surrounding cities.

Kool Covers currently installs canopies for HISD and KIPP Academy schools and we also have extensive experience installing them for residential homes throughout the Houston area. The company is owned and operated by Jorge and his three sons, utilizing their skills all around the states of Texas and Louisiana.

The state of Louisiana was devastated when Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005. Kool Covers was there in the heart of the state, supporting homes, churches and businesses to rebuild what had been lost. Our team put in the time and effort necessary to those that were in need of canopies, decks, additions and remodeling.

Jorge went on to create and manage A.J. Construction in 2000, alongside Kool Covers. A.J. Construction is a general contracting company offering a variety of services in the construction field.
