The word enclosure does not identify one weather-performance level. Roofs, screened boundaries and solid panels serve different purposes, so the proposal should describe the actual system.
Separate roof and wall choices
A solid roof supplies overhead coverage. Mesh screening retains airflow; it is not a solid weatherproof wall. Ask which panels, doors and roof are proposed.
Discuss exposure
Share where sunlight and rain reach your existing patio. Open sides and screen mesh can admit wind-driven rain. Do not assume electronics or furniture become protected from every condition.
Keep ventilation and use clear
A more enclosed outdoor area is not automatically conditioned interior space. Explain how you want to use it, then discuss ventilation and applicable property requirements.

Request product-specific care and weather guidance. Temperature reductions, energy savings, storm safety and maintenance savings are not established by the enclosure label.
